Government Confirms Pack Contents

The Home Information Pack Regulations have now been finalised and following some small changes, the Pack contents will have to include:

Energy Performance Certificate - the first document in the pack after the Index
Sale Statement and Index
Evidence of Title
Sale Statement
Evidence that other required documents (Local Search) have been commissioned and will be included within 28 days.

Personal search companies will be allowed to use insurance for those parts of the search where they are unable to gain access to data, but this concession will only apply until April 2008 by which time it is hoped the problems over access will be resolved.

System Enhancements

As part of our policy of constantly improving the Firsthips system we have now incorporated some additional enhancements:

Branding
Your firm's logo can now be incorporated on the site to give it a "personalised" appearance so that your clients will have the assurance that they are dealing directly with your firm after they have logged in to the site. We are making a nominal charge of just Ł125 plus VAT for site branding so if you would like to use this facility please call Firsthips Support on 01883 741409.
Administration
We have made a number of improvements to this section providing more control of the internal instruction process within individual firms.
Messaging Centre
We have made some enhancements to this section making it easier to track the source of each message and generally improving the functionality.
